With the ending of the absolutely astounding Olympics in Paris I wanted to create something that captured the nature of the giant spectacle. In an exhibition years ago I saw a painting by a German Expressionist that could be displayed however the viewer wished ,namely from any four sides. This is mine and whoever purchases this fine art work can choose how to frame it and may ask the framer to have several hooks and wires in the back so it can be rotated whenever you desire. For my part I have viewed it at length and at any angle new possibilities open up and each view works well for me .That's how I realized it was complete obviously. The crowds and so much more are hinted at here so I don't think that it needs any further explanation ,so just enjoy our journey and I hope it remains in our collective memories forever . Bet it will and don't you agree ? This is a work on stretched canvas and I used lightfast acrylic and acrylic markers in keeping with my Acrylic Charley name ..........
