Architecture both contemporary and historical has always held a strong fascination for yours truly. So how about in this triptych imaging three nudes of the period around 1348 in Italy participating in a joyous and focused demonstration of their lives ,or following their dreams as artists ,dancers, and architects involved in the construction of the main plaza ? While sitting in the main plaza for only 1 day the horse races and other ceremonial festivities came to mind then. I can recall seeing Duccio's 24 foot Maesta masterpiece and recall that he wrote..."God bless Siena and God bless Duccio ." Then a huge amount of the community carried this into the spectacular cathedral for the whole city to be mesmerized . Well Duccio is not present in this painting yet I felt some of the ambiance as these visions poured forth , I doubt that this ever happened but let's give the artist/architect an opportunity to show us her concepts for developing this city .in her own unique genius .
