Recently I as purchased a book on Monet as he is not an artist that has caught my attention in decades .Ever have a similar experience with anything in particular ? Now it wasn't the rich color combinations but the subtle use of light grays and pale colors that jumped out at me. These are especially about capturing that early morning light just after the early morning mist has lifted while the central panel offer a great juxtaposition to the other two .Many times in my life the greatest joys are such silent moments and for decades I have read ,drawn ,and kept tropical fish while also drawing at various settings here and in Central America. In my book Crashing Waves of Passions I placed Toulouse Lautrec in the London Zoo mesmerized by a large tank of hypnotic creatures. This is a mixed media triptych that should be displayed as shown with 1 inch between the panels. I frame mine with UV Glass without direct sunlight and have sprayed this set with UV Archival Fixative also ,but this was done mainly with acrylic and oil which are totally lightfast. When displayed watch a portion of nature in your living room .....without having to get a sunburn or undertake any fun water changes ! lol I pay shipping and taxes also.
