Abstraction for me means essentially gymnastics for the mind .Several times in my career for a period of a month or two I have taken a concept and pushed myself to reinvent it in a completely different outcome. You like incredible challenges pray tell ??? Each canvas panel is initialed with the exception of one with my fanciful signature, which was totally fun for yours truly ! Instead of repetition here I substituted never repeating myself in any other work no matter how complex or minimal. Many of my collectors aren't aware of how many years that I have worked abstractly and long ago after painting figure compositions based on living in Rome I spent a whole year creating 10" by 14" mixed media abstractions using ink and oil pastels ;they can create some juicy combinations that are a please to behold and use. Those small works were compared to De Kooning when they were exhibited in SOHO in NYC ,but trust me as he was never on my mind. So there are 2 panels out of the total package of 14 here that I refused to take pictures of for this reason; when they all arrive together please make the final initial decision in how they will be exhibited in your home or office as what better way to engage my collectors than your actual participation of the final displays of the work ?Brilliant and yep I wholeheartedly agree ! And you will love the 2 surprises as much as I do and think about showing the group as whole and the bottom of each has my initials to for reference. If you want to make groupings down the that's cool with me too.-----Lightfast acrylic marker and I never display mine in direct sunlight even though I have sprayed each with a fine UV Archival Fixative before shipping. Each panel is 8" by 10 " and only a few are vertical for a touch more of variety .Enjoy as they soon will become similar to that mental gym for you ,never boring either !
