After snorkeling in the tropics several times I was truly amazed at how many special memories stayed with me. Beyond that I fondly recall drawing tortoises as the variety of shapes and textures is beyond the imagination as you well know. The coral in this is quite a texture as I repeatedly worked on it for a long time to create a distinct surface throughout the painting. The combination of the Turtle Queen heading out on a voyage and the abstraction here give this a sense of mystery that every viewer has been mesmerized with ,yours truly included. The dimensions here may be a larger in person as it is hanging fairly high up now in a great vantage point. It is acrylic on canvas and I will pay shipping and taxes for delivery in the US.
